A high-profile visit in the BMW Motorrad plant in Berlin: on Monday 17th July 2017, the military police from the German armed forces visited the plant in Spandau to get a detailed insight into the motorcycle manufacturer’s production processes. The reason? The military police will expanding their service vehicles in the fourth quarter of this year with 84 BMW R 1200 RT-Ps.
The models will be equipped appropriately for their purposes, with BMW radio pre-installation, ABS Pro, various riding modes and LED additional headlights, as well as the full optional police equipment, thus completing the fleet of the German armed forces.
Under the leadership of Major Myrrhe, the troupe travelled with a convoy of 34 BMW R 1200 RT-Ps to the plant in Spandau, to familiarise themselves with the production processes of the motorcycle manufacturer BMW Motorrad. The soldiers then expressed their appreciation for the high quality of the manufacturing work – and their anticipation of the BMW R 1200 RT-Ps is growing.
