The first official handover of 76 motorcycles to Czech police was carried out in December 2016 at the BMW Motorrad Renocar retailer in Brno, under the auspices of Galdric Donnezan, General Manager BMW Motorrad Central and Eastern Europe.
“These days, police motorcycles are standard equipment for a modern European police force. They represent an important and effective tool for traffic police performing police work,” says Major General Tomáš Tuhý (Czech Chief of Police), who had been invited to this symbolic event.
The police will receive the second and final part of the order (59 further motorcycles) in early 2017.
BMW Motorrad looks forward to a long and successful cooperation with the authorities in the Czech Republic.
