Germany, 2015

In 2015, BMW Motorrad was awarded a Europe-wide tender from Saxony-Anhalt in Germany. The federal state refreshed its motorcycle fleet with a total of 16 BMW motorcycles.

This September, the police department in Saxony-Anhalt North will now receive the last of the BMW F 800 GT-Ps ordered. Particularly important to the police was a lightweight, convenient motorcycle offering good protection from the weather.

The radio motorcycles have all the available BMW authority components such as visual warning lights, emergency power siren, a single seat with radio transceiver boxes including public address system, and a STOP signal. In addition, the BMW F 800 GT-P is also equipped with a protection bar at the front and rear.

Everyday police operations are made easier with heated handlebars and a mudguard for bad weather. Installing the BMW Motorrad radio pre-installation allows the digital radio systems supplied by the authority to be easily controlled and ergonomically operated without losing control of the vehicle.
